2013 SGT. H2Os Aquatic Boot Camp-- ARMY DIVER FITNESS CHALLENGE
 
This event is based on the training that Army divers, Navy SEALs, and Army Special Forces soldiers go through. Proceeds will go to the Task Force Dagger Foundation.

  • 500 yard swim using breast stroke or side stroke
  • 10 minute break
  • Max pushups in 2 minutes
  • Max situps in 2 minutes
  • Max dead hang pullups
  • 1.5 mile run

This test is based on a scoring system. Lowest score wins.

You get 1 point for every second on the run and swim. You then subtract your total pushups, situps, (pullups x6), and then you receive your score. For example if you had a 10 minute swim, 10 minute run, 80 pushups, 80 situps, and 12 pullups this is how it would work.  (600+600-80-80-72) = 968

Competitive numbers that you would want to have in order to become a Navy Seal, Army Diver, or Special Forces Soldier:

10 min or less on the 500 yard swim

80 pushups

80 situps

12 pullups

10 min or less on the 1.5 mile run
